Dear Fellow Believers in Christ, (Christ in Us is the Person of Eternal Life)

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all work in unison and participate in our Salvation. Who is the Sealer and who is the Sealed One in our hearts? If all the promises of God are in Christ (II Cor. 1:20), then why would we preach or teach promises to the Church from any other covenant than Christ -- the Living Covenant in us? If it is eternal life, then how can it change or cease to be? What significant spiritual truth is Jesus referring to in John chapter 6 when he says to eat His flesh and drink His blood? Let us hear the Holy Spirit confirm the Word with some significant considerations about eternal life.

ETERNAL LIFE

"And this ever is the witness, that God once then gave us eternal life, and this life ever is in His Son. The one ever having the Son ever has life; the one not ever having the Son of God not ever has life" (I John 5:11,12, Expanded Greek).

First, We have Eternal Life In, By, and Through the Life of the Son in Us
Paul declares that the Father raised Christ from the dead when he says, "according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead" (Eph. 1:19b,20a). John also declares, "For as the Father ever raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to who He ever will" (John 5:21, EGT). The Father is declared as the resurrector of the dead, and He has put His Eternal Life in His Son. This eternal life is ever in His Son (I John 5:11). When the Holy Spirit speaks to us the "Word of Christ" – faith comes to us (Rom. 10:17). When we believe in the heart that the Father raised Christ from the dead (John 5:24; Rom. 10:9) then the righteousness of God is imputed to us (Rom. 4:22-24;10:10a). When we confess with our mouth (Rom. 10:10b) the living Word of God that has been birthed into our heart by the Holy Spirit, we are born again by that Eternal Word (I Pet. 1:23). We are saved by His life (Rom. 5:10). We are saved in, by, and through the Person and the life of the Son now living in us as us (Rom. 5:10,21; 6:23; I John 5:11,12).

Second, We are Sealed by the Person and Life of Christ Living In Us
As a result of Salvation with His eternally accepted Son living in us, we are sealed for eternity by the will, power, and authority of Almighty God. The Holy Spirit placed Christ, the Living Word of Life in us. The Holy Spirit is the Sealer and the Son is the eternal life substance and the expression of the Father sealed in us (Eph. 1:13; 4:30). This is why Paul declares, "the Son of God, Jesus Christ" was who he preached (II Cor. 1:19). "For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us" (II Cor. 1:20). Paul tells us that all the promises of God are in Christ. Does all mean all? Of course it does. Then, why would we preach or teach promises to God's people from any other covenant than the Living Covenant of Christ in us. It does say that, all the promises of God are in Him! Paul emphasizes that we are in Christ over 150 times in his epistles, and Christ in us as the temporal outworking and expression of the Father in us. The Father anoints us and the Holy Spirit seals us "and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a deposit" (II Cor. 1:21,22). And because we are now the Father's sons, He "has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, 'Abba, Father!' " (Gal. 4:6).

Third, The Father Put His Eternal Son in Us for an Eternal Relationship
The Father desires to have sons that would be free to love Him and have a loving relationship with Him. Lucifer and one-third of the angelic host rebelled against the Father and He had to expel them from heaven. This time the Father has put the Person, the Spirit, the Nature, and the Life of His Son in each and every son in the rebirthing process. This will ensure our eternal relationship.

Fourth, Eternal Life Means Incorruptible, Undefiled, Non Fading, & Keeping
While men may discuss losing one's salvation, the Word of God is clear that eternal life means eternal life. John quotes Jesus who says, "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand" (John 10:28). We must be trusting in Christ the source of eternal life and be rebirthed by the Holy Spirit placing Christ in us for this to apply. We are not saved by believing in a doctrine. We are saved by His life (Rom. 5:10). Peter is eternally descriptive in several of his passages when he says, We are born again by the incorruptible living word of God (I Pet. 1:23). Peter tells us our rebirthing is "an ever living hope" (I Pet. 1:3, EGT). Peter goes on to state that we have, "an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time" (I Pet. 1:4,5). Eternal means eternal. It can never change or cease to be, if it is eternal.

Fifth, Christ is the Only Living Bread Source We Must Eat for Eternal Life
Jesus says, "I ever am the bread of life" (John 6:48, EGT). We have to eat of Christ and be rebirthed by the Spirit to have life. However, Jesus goes on to say, "I ever am the ever living bread" (John 6:51a, EGT). Jesus continues and says, "If anyone shall eat of this bread, he shall forever live into eternity" (John 6:51b, EGT). Jesus makes clear that it is ever living or eternal life being discussed. Jesus goes on to say, "Truly, truly, I ever say unto you, unless you should at intervals eat the flesh of the Son of Man and should at intervals drink His blood, you ever have not life in yourself" (John 6:53, EGT). There is a lot said here, but clearly Christ says there is no eternal life source within ourselves, and certainly no eternal life source aside from Him. "Jesus continually said to him, I ever am the way, the truth, and the life. No one ever comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6, EGT). Christ is the ONLY eternal life source for us.

Sixth, The Rebirthed Sons Are to Ever Eat of Christ as Their Source of Life
John quotes Jesus stating, "The one ever eating my flesh and ever drinking my blood ever has eternal life, and I will hereafter raise him up in the last day" (John 6:54, EGT). Perhaps verse 53 could be fulfilled by his disciples, however, only rebirthed sons can fulfil this verse 54. We ever have Christ living in us. New creation race people are the ONLY ones that can fulfil this scripture. What is His flesh we are to eat? His flesh is the "will of the Father" (John 4:34). What is His blood we are to drink? His blood is His Word, His Spirit, His Nature, His Life that we have coursing through every part of us in this new creation life (John 6:63).

Seventh, Christ is Living in Me as My Eternal Life and My Only Life
Paul says, "I ever live yet no longer I, but Christ ever lives in me: and the life I now ever live in the flesh, I ever live in faith by the Son of God" (Gal. 2:20 EGT). Christ in His complete love is still giving Himself up even today, by ever living in and through us. Eternal Life is not just something we received at Salvation by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal Life is Christ. Christ is the Person of Eternal Life. That is why John stated, "And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life" (I Jn. 5:20). Christ is living in me as my eternal life – my only life.
